All you need to know!

Wedding Walk 2011 is this weekend; October 7 & 8, Friday & Saturday.

The times for Wedding Walk 2011 are 10 am - 5 pm each day.

Begin your journey at any Downtown Holland store with a silver bow on the door.  (See the list to the right of this page, too)

You'll be given a map with a tear-off ticket.  Gather signatures from the participating vendors on the tear-off ticket and drop it in the silver box at your last stop for a chance to win the Grand Prize Drawing.  You'll also be given a bag in which to carry all the literature and goodies you may collect along your Walk.

The only scheduled event this year is on Saturday from 1 pm - 2 pm when Josh Parks will be performing on the violin inside September's Bride.  Josh is available to play solo violin or arrange a string ensemble for weddings and events.

You will probably want to schedule around 3 hours total in order to fully experience Wedding Walk.  This doesn't include time spent registering for gifts or trying on wedding gowns; then you'll want to plan more time!  (Remember that September's Bride does strongly recommend appointments on weekends)

If you have any questions that are not answered here, please feel free to e-mail weddingwalk@gmail.com.  We'll be happy to help!

See you this weekend.

Wedding Walk 2011 is just 2 weeks away!

Wedding Walk 2011 Dates

Wedding Walk 2011 will be October 7 & 8.  We look forward to showing all that Downtown Holland has to offer for wedding couples.

Wedding Walk :: How do I Participate?

So glad you asked!

Wedding Walk is a no-charge, self-guided tour of twenty-six retailers & services, who all specialize in items for weddings, the bridal couple, and their families.  All of these vendors will be concentrated in Downtown Holland on October 1 & 2, 2010. Hours for Wedding Walk are 10 am - 5 pm each day.

Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours at Wedding Walk if you just want to stroll, visit the vendors, and get your entry blank validated by each for the Grand Prize Drawing (more on that later).   If you would like to catch a fashion show, a workshop or seminar, and take some time trying on wedding gowns or planning your honeymoon, you may want to plan to visit on both days for 4 or 5 hours each.

Parking in Downtown Holland is accessible and free.  To begin your "Wedding Walk", start at any storefront with a white or silver bow on the door. This tells you that this store is participating.  At the first store you visit, you will receive a brochure; containing a map, detailing each Wedding Walk stop, and a Schedule of Events.  Wedding Walk is completely self-guided; so you decide in what order you want to visit the merchants and which workshops you would like to attend.  All we ask is that you visit each stop at least once to have your Grand Prize Entry validated.  At your last stop on Wedding Walk, you will drop your entry blank into the marked box to for a chance to win the Grand Prize.  This year's Grand Prize will be a collection of gift certificates and gift items from Downtown Holland merchants worth over $1500!

Below is the schedule of workshops & shows for Wedding Walk.  Many of the events are offered multiple times so that you may plan your own schedule.  We encourage you to sit, relax, and enjoy these 20-minute workshops put together expressly for you!
